RSPCA Pet insurance (underwritten and provided by Covea Insurance plc) offers five levels of cover to suit your needs and budget. So whether you need to protect your cat or safeguard your dog – there’s a choice of options!

• Rspca Platinum Insurance

Platinum pet insurance covers up to £12,000 of vet treatment per year. Illnesses and accidents are covered, and platinum cover includes as standard up to £2,000 of accidental damage cover and £2 million third party liability cover.

Pets will be covered for illnesses or accidents and each condition is covered until the vet fee limit is reached for that year.

• Gold

Gold pet insurance gives £8,000 of cover for vet treatment per year. Illnesses and accidents are covered, and gold cover includes as standard up to £2,000 of accidental damage cover and £2 million third party liability cover.

Pets will be covered for illnesses or accidents and each condition is covered until the vet fee limit is reached for that year.

• Silver

Silver covers pet for both illnesses and accidents and covers vet fees of up to £6,000 per condition. Each condition is covered up to the vet fee limit as long as the policy remains in force.

• Bronze

Bronze level pet insurance offers basic cover for pets for both illnesses and accidents and covers vet fees of up to £4,000 per condition. Each condition is covered up to the vet fee limit as long as the policy remains in force.

• Accident Only Pet Insurance

Accident Only offers an introductory level of cover for pets. Each accident is covered up to the £2,500 vet fee limit or for up to 12 months from first date of treatment, whichever happens first, as long as the policy remains in force.

Cover for the cost of any accidents will start 48 hours after the start date of the policy. This policy does not provide cover for illnesses, unless the illness was a result of an accident.
